Mission

To combine historical and contemporary media elements to celebrate the compelling action oriented series with all new content that would engage the heavily male demographic.

Challenge

Travel to the Irish set and capture compelling content amidst the series’ tight production timelines, collaborate with noted Viking Historians to further the real historical narrative, and use interactive elements to create engaging viewer experiences on Blu-ray.

Results

Answering the challenge of 20th Century Fox, Thinkwell Media worked closely with The History Channel and the creator of Vikings, Michael Hirst, over 5 seasons of celebrated television to create an array of behind-the-scenes media that supported and augmented the narrative. Season 6 work begins soon.
