Cory is an award-winning filmmaker and creative executive, and the leader of the Thinkwell Media team. He actively writes and produces filmed content and mixed-media experiences for clients including Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, the REGIS Corp., as well as countless Thinkwell location-based-media clients. He has produced breakthrough behind-the-scenes special features, marketing, and original content for the Harry Potter films, the Fast & Furious franchise, the Dark Knight trilogy, the Despicable Me movies, and perhaps most famously for the Oscar-winning action classic, Mad Max: Fury Road.
Cory’s experience spans multi-part broadcast documentaries, national commercials, original branded digital content, tent-pole movie and TV marketing, weekly cable TV series, digital network programming, and a range of interactive media explorations. He loves creative production in all shapes and sizes and excels at leading multi-disciplinary groups of diverse talents.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Cory produced acclaimed programs for The Discovery Channel, TLC, The National Geographic Society, The National Institute on Drug Abuse, The National Park Service, and many others.
Renée De Soto is the operational mastermind of Thinkwell Media. An executive blessed with ninja-like financial skills, she’s equally comfortable working with clients, managing large multidisciplinary teams, and architecting long-term strategic plans. Her driving work ethic and expertise at controlling costs, deploying resources, and streamlining complex systems has fueled the team’s success. Above all, Renee’s deep understanding of human dynamics —coupled with her ability to listen, analyze, and offer game-changing insight — fosters group harmony and inspires her co-workers to thrive.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Renée was VP of Operations for space150/ONE+K where she oversaw agency operations in Burbank. Ultimately, she was responsible for ensuring that the agency operated efficiently and achieved business goals and objectives.
As Executive Media Producer, Michael emphasizes “story” over all else when producing a wide variety of content for digital, broadcast, and next generation platforms. He has created engaging experiences to support and expand the narratives of some of the world’s most popular live-action & animated films, television programs, and video games. Michael is a proud partner in content creation with Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Dreamworks Animation, Lionsgate, Marvel Studios, and Blizzard Entertainment.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Michael worked as an Executive Producer at space150/ONE+K, where he wrote, directed, produced, and collaborated on original content for IPs in Feature Films, Television Series, and Animation. Additionally, he worked to identify new creative opportunities in the marketplace that would further expand the organization’s creative expertise.
Evelien is a veteran field producer, with nearly 25 years of experience in the television and film industries. Over that time she has worn many hats including director, editor, videographer, and casting director. She specializes in BTS, EPK, and custom content, both for feature films and cable/network television series, as well as non-scripted competition series and seasonal specials. Just a few of her recent and/or noteworthy film and TV credits include “Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse,” “The Hate U Give,” “This is Us,” “Star Trek,” “Blacklist,” “Blindspot,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Ice Age,” and the long-running MTV series “Diary.”
As a Producer, Sarkis develops, manages, and oversees all aspects of video productions
from pre-production to post-production. Sarkis specializes in writing, organizing productions, still photography, editorial processes, and project management.
Sarkis has over twelve years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked with every major studio including Warner Bros., Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, and Universal.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Sarkis worked as a Producer for space150 and ONE+K on many various video projects including the home entertainment releases for Dreamworks’ Trolls, Kung Fu Panda 3, and How To Train Your Dragon 2. Before his work with space150 and ONE+K, Sarkis worked in film restoration on multiple Academy awarding winning films including All That Jazz, How Green Was My Valley, All About Eve, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
As Senior Producer, Tyler supports on-going project needs as well as proposals and new opportunities for Thinkwell Media. Tyler specializes in audio production, video production and direction, still photography, touring exhibition production, promotional tour management, event production and management, and voice-over direction.
He has over seventeen years of experience working in the entertainment industry. He has been involved in various Thinkwell projects, including Jaguar Land Rover Brand Experience Centre, Dubai Festival City Mall: Marina Activator Concept, and Ski Dubai: Snowfari, and The Hunger Games: The Exhibition.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Tyler worked in various roles at Thinkwell and was previously a Producer for GES: Entertainment and a freelance Film/Television/Commercial Production Professional.
As a Production Coordinator, Stefani organizes and maintains projects from creation to delivery. In the day-to- day, Stefani supports multiple executive producers in the creative process for short-form documentaries to interactive content. Duties range from maintaining schedules, budgeting, handling expense reports and legal documents to setting up production shoots, and organizing effective execution of client notes while maintaining personable but professional interaction.
Stefani has over three years of experience as Production Coordinator in the entertainment industry. Stefani’s projects primarily include multifaceted content with major studios such as Paramount, Warner Bros. and Universal. This multifaceted content includes working on productions such as History Channel’s Vikings, Warner Bros.’s Shameless, and Universal’s SING.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Stefani worked as a Production Coordinator and Associate Producer for space150/ONE+K.
As Director of Post Production, Thomas is responsible for providing the creative and operational leadership to Thinkwell Media’s digital post-production team and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content. Working in collaboration with the team’s producers, editors, and art directors, Thomas helps ensure that a project’s creative vision is properly executed and delivered to Thinkwell Media’s technical and creative specifications.
Thomas has a background in editing, producing, and post supervising commercial films for both production companies and digital agencies in Los Angeles and Seattle.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Thomas was the Post Production Supervisor at Space150 and ONE+K.
As a Senior Editor, Mateo edits for short documentaries and original media content. He’s led post production teams to maximize efficiency in support of greater creativity, and worked closely with producers to realize concepts creatively and technically.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Mateo worked as an assistant editor at New Wave Entertainment and Cannery Agency before becoming an editor with ONE+K and space150.
As an Assistant Editor, Amber works with online, finishing, color, editing, visual effects,
motion graphics, and 3D. She is an enthusiastic and creative Assistant Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, and Computer Animator. She is dedicated and detail oriented with exceptional flexibility and resourcefulness. Amber thrives in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment, working across multiple Thinkwell Media projects with ease on any given day.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Amber worked as an intern for different companies as an animator.
Jetpack Jenny — or “JPJ” to her closest friends — is a transformational leader, hula-hoop enthusiast, and unlicensed jetpack pilot.
Her story has become the stuff of legend: how as a baby, she loved eating big, squishy marshmallows. Perhaps more importantly: how her early passion for creative design led to an interest in making revolutionary gizmos. It was this last talent that would forever change the course of human history. Jenny is perhaps most famous for confronting her darkest inner fears and saving the Earth, when she built a radically new kind of jetpack, assembled a team of hyper-powered creatives (now known as Thinkwell Media,) and led them into battle to stop the terrifying Negatroid Invasion of April 2017. he holds a Ph.D. in deep-sea engineering and speaks 67 languages (including all 15 dialects of Swahili.) She is a five-time winner of the Bavarian Pretzel Guzzling Competition and frequently craves coffee ice cream. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys building small fusion reactors in her backyardand teaching zero-gravity Jujitsu.
