As a Senior Editor, Mateo edits for short documentaries and original media content. He’s led post production teams to maximize efficiency in support of greater creativity, and worked closely with producers to realize concepts creatively and technically.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Mateo worked as an assistant editor at New Wave Entertainment and Cannery Agency before becoming an editor with ONE+K and space150.
Ashley is that rare talent who combines creative chops (and thus an intimate understanding of the production process) with next-level organizational skills. Her formidable background includes time working as a graphic designer and photographer. In her capacity as Production Coordinator, she supports projects from inception all the way through to final delivery. Ashley works closely with multiple executive producers, with duties ranging from maintaining schedules, budgeting, handling expense reports and legal documents to setting up production shoots. Prior to Thinkwell Media Ashley worked as an in-house graphic designer in the wholesale accessories industry. She enjoys spending time with family, especially new niece Emma, and rescuing animals in distress. Her current count stands at 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 hummingbird, 1 possum, 1 gopher, and 1 baby rat.
As a Sr. Producer, Sarkis develops, manages, and oversees all aspects of video productions from pre-production to post-production. Sarkis specializes in writing, organizing productions, still photography, editorial processes, and project management. Sarkis has over twelve years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked with every major studio including Warner Bros., Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, and Universal. Prior to Thinkwell, Sarkis worked as a Producer for space150/ONE+K on many various video projects including the home entertainment releases for Dreamworks Trolls, Kung Fu Panda 3, and How To Train Your Dragon 2. Before his work with space150/ONE+K, Sarkis worked in film restoration on multiple Academy awarding winning films such as All That Jazz, How Green Was My Valley, All About Eve, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
As Director of Post Production, Thomas is responsible for providing the creative and operational leadership to Thinkwell Media’s digital post-production team and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content. Working in collaboration with the team’s producers, editors, and art directors, Thomas helps ensure that a project’s creative vision is properly executed and delivered to Thinkwell Media’s technical and creative specifications.
Thomas has a background in editing, producing, and post supervising commercial films for both production companies and digital agencies in Los Angeles and Seattle.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Thomas was the Post Production Supervisor at Space150 and ONE+K.
Renée De Soto is the operational mastermind of Thinkwell Media. An executive blessed with ninja-like financial skills, she’s equally comfortable working with clients, managing large multidisciplinary teams, and architecting long-term strategic plans. Her driving work ethic and expertise at controlling costs, deploying resources, and streamlining complex systems has fueled the team’s success. Above all, Renee’s deep understanding of human dynamics —coupled with her ability to listen, analyze, and offer game-changing insight — fosters group harmony and inspires her co-workers to thrive.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Renée was VP of Operations for space150/ONE+K where she oversaw agency operations in Burbank. Ultimately, she was responsible for ensuring that the agency operated efficiently and achieved business goals and objectives.
Cory is an award-winning filmmaker and creative executive, and the leader of the Thinkwell Media team. He actively writes and produces filmed content and mixed-media experiences for clients including Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, the REGIS Corp., as well as countless Thinkwell location-based-media clients. He has produced breakthrough behind-the-scenes special features, marketing, and original content for the Harry Potter films, the Fast & Furious franchise, the Dark Knight trilogy, the Despicable Me movies, and perhaps most famously for the Oscar-winning action classic, Mad Max: Fury Road.
Cory’s experience spans multi-part broadcast documentaries, national commercials, original branded digital content, tent-pole movie and TV marketing, weekly cable TV series, digital network programming, and a range of interactive media explorations. He loves creative production in all shapes and sizes and excels at leading multi-disciplinary groups of diverse talents.
Prior to Thinkwell Media, Cory produced acclaimed programs for The Discovery Channel, TLC, The National Geographic Society, The National Institute on Drug Abuse, The National Park Service, and many others.
